About

Hello World!

I’m an artist, designer and educator, who teaches Visual Design + Display of Information at the University of Toronto.
Over the years, I’ve collected a wealth of information from experts in the field and would like to share my research findings with you.

I am also a design consultant, providing mostly graphic and user-interface design services to the academic, medical and health community.
In my spare time, I shoot photography.

A disclaimer of sorts: Please note that this is not a conventional blog in that I don’t post daily thoughts and personal reflections…. Rather, it’s a collection of information intended mostly for my students as a work in progress, but hopefully it will:

  • inform, educate and entertain
  • be a useful resource on visual information design and technology
  • demonstrate my knowledge of the subject to future clients

I hope this is as useful for you as it has been for me!

Enjoy!
Nancy
